We are pleased to share the recipients of several distinguished awards recognizing outstanding service, leadership, and contributions within our community.

The winner of the Margarine G. Beaman Volunteer Award is Cecily Laney Nipper. This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional volunteer dedication and service to the organization. Cecily’s commitment and generous contributions of time and effort have made a meaningful difference.

The Ned E. Freeman Excellence in Writing Award was presented to Janet Di Nola Parmerter. This award honors excellence in writing that reflects insight, clarity, and meaningful contributions to the community.

Several members were also honored with state awards presented by the Georgia Council of the Blind to recognize leadership, service, and contributions that strengthen our organization and the community we serve.
